As
for the leaves they are glabrous or nearly so on both sides, with five very
deeply notched lobes. The principal Malvasia vines are grown near São Jorge
and Santana on the north coast and Câmara de Lobos and Estreito de
Câmara de Lobos on the south, at altitudes between 200 and 300 meters.
