Data on The Boal |
 |
This
medium-sized plant has light brown shoots with short internodes and moderate
sized leaves. These leaves are hairy beneath and subglabrous or pubescent
above with the Three lobes very distinct, sometimes acuminate and the basal
lobes aren’t usually clearly defined. |
| The
north side of the island near São Vicente and also Campanário, Calheta,
Ponta do Pargo and Câmara de Lobos on the south coast are the
best locations for these vines. The northern and southern Bual grapes differ
a bit in taste and character. |
