Technical Data on The Boal
Boal Leaf Outline This medium-sized plant has light brown shoots with short internodes and moderate sized leaves. These  leaves are hairy beneath and subglabrous or pubescent above with the Three lobes very distinct, sometimes acuminate and the basal lobes aren’t usually clearly defined.
The north side of the island near São Vicente and also Campanário, Calheta, Ponta do Pargo and  Câmara de Lobos on the south coast are the  best locations for these vines. The northern and southern Bual grapes differ a bit in taste and character.
